Gin Minsky, the epitome of Old Hollywood glamour and artistry, is an award-winning internationally-renowned tap dancer, burlesque performer, and sword swallower. With an illustrious career spanning 15 years, she has captivated audiences on both national and international stages, becoming a true luminary in the entertainment realm. Her performances include a varied spectrum of specialized dance acts and sideshow spectacle, suitable for a wide range of venues from cabaret clubs to upscale concert halls to corporate galas.
From a young age, Gin’s passion for the performing arts flourished, leading her to NYC to study tap dance under the guidance of esteemed masters. Embracing her love for captivating storytelling and theatricality, Gin shortly found her second home on the illustrious stages of burlesque. Here, she melds her love of tap dance, Jazz Age fashion, and scintillating striptease, presenting polished routines that entice and mesmerize spectators. Her costumes, a work of art themselves, are a testament to her meticulous eye for detail and dedication to creating a full sensory experience.
After years of an accomplished burlesque career, Gin was trained in the ancient art of sword swallowing by a Coney Island sideshow legend, a skill that is performed by less than 50 women in the world. With audacious fearlessness, she has created dazzling performances, combing the dangerous feat with burlesque and tap dancing, creating unique acts, clever props and exceptional reveals that have never been seen before.
As a master of her craft, Gin Minsky has taken her awe-inspiring shows to the grandest venues, from glittering stages in the US to historic theaters in Europe. She has become known as one of the top burlesque performers and sideshow artists, performing at notable venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Leicester Square, Iridium Jazz Club, the Copacabana, and the world famous Coney Island Sideshow, among others. She has been an invited performer for 6 consecutive years at the “Oscars of Burlesque,” the Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas, winning the award for “Most Classic” in 2017. She is also a founding cast member of Company XIV’s cirque spectacular, “Cocktail Magique.” She has enthralled audiences from San Francisco to Australia, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to witness her enchanting performances.
